All Indonesia – Say goodbye to the hassle of entering Indonesia! Now, tourists will find it easier to visit the country after the government launched the AII Indonesia app. This digital transformation proves Indonesia’s commitment to improving immigration services while strengthening its image as a tourist-friendly destination. But what exactly is this app, and what features does it offer?
Indonesia is carrying out major reforms in the immigration sector by introducing new policies and innovations to simplify the arrival process for foreigners.
One of the latest innovations is the AII Indonesia app. This digital service, developed by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) together with the Directorate General of Immigration, is designed to make it easier for both international tourists and Indonesian citizens returning home.
What is All Indonesia?
AII Indonesia is the result of a collaboration between Kemenparekraf and the Directorate General of Immigration. The app was created to cut down on the complicated arrival procedures that are often seen as inconvenient by both foreign tourists and Indonesian citizens.
Starting September 1, 2025, the use of this app will be mandatory at:
- Three international airports: Soekarno-Hatta, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, and Juanda.
- Six international ports in Batam: Batam Center, Nongsa, Marina, Sekupang, Harbour Bay, and Bengkong.
Main Features of AII Indonesia
The app comes with five key features to ensure a faster and more convenient travel experience:
- Online arrival card, reducing the need for manual forms.
- Automatic data storage, keeping information neatly saved without repeated entries.
- Real-time notifications, helping users track their travel status.
- Multilingual support, available in Indonesian, English, and Mandarin.
- Encrypted data security, ensuring privacy and user protection.
Another advantage is its integration with key agencies such as Immigration, Customs, the Ministry of Health, and the Indonesian Quarantine Agency.
The launch of AII Indonesia is part of the Digital Tourism Transformation 5.0 program initiated by Kemenparekraf. The program aims to create a tourism ecosystem that is faster, safer, and more practical, allowing travelers to enjoy their journey without being burdened by lengthy administrative processes. This innovation also strengthens Indonesia’s global standing as a tourism destination that prioritizes technology and convenience.
All Indonesia as a Sign of Safety
Recently, waves of public protests occurred in several regions in Indonesia. These demonstrations raised concerns about potential impacts on the national tourism sector. However, the government emphasized that Indonesia remains safe and open for international visitors.
State-owned tourism and aviation holding InJourney confirmed that airports, hotels, and tourist destinations in Indonesia remain secure and comfortable for tourists.
InJourney has also coordinated with local governments and security forces to ensure safety and convenience at airports and tourism sites.
Key destinations such as Bali, Yogyakarta, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and Jakarta are now safe, stable, and ready to welcome visitors. From airports, hotels, attractions, to retail spaces, all operations are running normally with ongoing activities to create memorable experiences for travelers.
President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto has stressed that the safety of citizens and international visitors is the government’s top priority.
“Indonesia remains open, welcoming, and ready to provide a safe and memorable experience for tourists,” said Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Widiyanti Putri Wardhana in an official statement, Sunday, September 7, 2025.
