Following up on the results of the meeting on the revision of the Circular of the Chairperson of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force number 8 of 2021 regarding the International Travel Health Protocol, the Ministry of Health is asked to follow up by issuing a list of countries whose cases are increasing and regularly updated according to global case developments.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health establishes three (3) criteria for international travellers as follows:
- A deferred visa with the following criteria:
Foreigners with travel history in the last 14 days from countries with reports of a high increase in new cases and / or high deaths in the last 7 days, as well as a new variant (Variant of Concern), namely India and South Africa. - Quarantine 14 X 24 hours with the following criteria:
a. Foreigners with travel history in the last 14 days from countries that reported cases of COVID-19 had a new variant (Variant of Concern) and based on a risk analysis by the Ministry of Health, from these countries have a risk of transmitting COVID-19 to Indonesia, namely Pakistan, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Argentina, Turkey, Brazil, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, Italy, Singapore, Iran, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Saudi Arabia.b. Indonesian citizens with travel history within 14 days from countries with reports of a high increase in new cases and / or high deaths in the last 7 days, as well as a new variant (Variant of Concern) as referred to in number 1, namely from India and South Africa.
Quarantine 5 X 24 hours with the following criteria:
a. Foreigners who are not included in categories 1 and 2.a.b. Indonesian citizens from countries that report cases of COVID-19 that are not included in category 2.b. For this category, Indonesian citizens are required to continue self-quarantine for 14 days at their residence after completing centralized quarantine at designated quarantine facilities.
